Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raul Fonseca started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Melo in the 3rd minute of play forced Segundeira FC's goalkeeper André Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jorge Nunes fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Segundeira FC's protests and gave Jorge Nunes a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes Segundeira FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Nunes. 7 minutes into the game, Inácio Esteves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. André Araújo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fernando Melo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Raul Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jaime Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Assunção kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Fernando Melo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Araújo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Raul Fonseca might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaime Domingues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raul Fonseca ran back to his position shaking his head. 20 minutes into the match, Segundeira FC's Raul Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jaime Domingues narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jaime Domingues stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raul Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. When Miguel Matias fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Segundeira FC's protests and gave Miguel Matias a yellow card for diving instead. Pissilgais FC's Jaime Domingues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Pissilgais FC from getting a goal against them. In the 31st match minute, Pissilgais FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Segundeira FC's Amílcar Moutinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jaime Domingues narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th match minute, Segundeira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Nunes to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Domingues was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Raul Fonseca showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 38 minute of play. A collision led to Segundeira FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Paulo Veiga hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the game, Raul Fonseca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jaime Domingues was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Raul Lima took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for André Araújo to make any attempt to save it. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Segundeira FC's goalkeeper André Araújo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fernando Melo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. André Araújo came out and tried to block the shot, but Fernando Melo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 65th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Pissilgais FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amílcar Moutinho came free, but Jaime Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Segundeira FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Domingos Freitas in the 77th minute. Domingos Freitas made a great header on Segundeira FC's corner, it was just that Pissilgais FC's Jaime Domingues managed to reach the ball for a save. André Araújo made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Fernando Melo sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute, Raul Lima reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of André Araújo. The goal made the score 3-5. Carlos Cruz hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Cruz during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Pissilgais FC booed when Segundeira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Araújo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Melo in the 95th minute. During the 96th minute of the match Carlos Cruz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Carlos Cruz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Segundeira FC's Carlos Cruz got a free kick in the 96th minute.
