After having played for 4 minutes, Miguel Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atenor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Luz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Diogo Paiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrique Dantas was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. If Daniel Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ameixial's Humberto Melo got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 12th minute of the match Miguel Luz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henrique Dantas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Daniel Gonçalves succeeded in the game's 19th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. 22 minutes into the game, Rui Pinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Henrique Dantas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. If Rui Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The wind increased when Daniel Gonçalves made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Gonçalves in the 54th minute of play forced Ameixial's goalkeeper Henrique Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrique Dantas made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Rui Pinho sent off a good shot on target. Joaquim Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Setúbal in the 57th minute of play. António Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Domingues having to interfere. After 60 minutes of play, Atenor's Rui Pinho made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrique Dantas was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Ameixial's Rafael Fontes got a free kick in the 64th minute. After 65 played minutes, Atenor's Miguel Luz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Henrique Dantas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atenor reached it. In the 70thth minute of the game Alexandre Setúbal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atenor's Joaquim Domingues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 71st minute, António Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th match minute, Ameixial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute of the match Miguel Luz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henrique Dantas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Rui Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Alexandre Setúbal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquim Domingues was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Atenor walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
