The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th match minute, Segundeira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Cruz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Fonseca in the 12th minute of play forced Ameixial's goalkeeper Henrique Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If António Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Alexandre Setúbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ameixial's attack was well implemented in the 21st minute, but when António Martins was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Segundeira FC's André Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Setúbal in the 27th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Monteiro during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Segundeira FC booed when Ameixial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ameixial's Henrique Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílcar Moutinho in the 82nd minute of play. When Alexandre Setúbal came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Ameixial fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Setúbal couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ameixial had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
