When Ricardo Domingues fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pissilgais FC's protests and gave Ricardo Domingues a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Atenor. Miguel Luz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jaime Domingues. 1-0. Jaime Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Gonçalves in the 20th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Fernando Melo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Gonçalves in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaime Domingues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 36 played minutes Pissilgais FC got a freekick which was hit by Inácio Esteves. If Rui Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Melo in the 42nd minute of play. Rui Pinho struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Jaime Domingues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atenor. Alfredo Sá hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Joaquim Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raul Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joaquim Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Lima in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Pinho in the 59th minute of play forced Pissilgais FC's goalkeeper Jaime Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Domingues having to interfere. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jaime Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atenor were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pissilgais FC for a fine match.
