In the 6th minute Simão Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Barco FC's Simão Pires in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Torrejao's goalie prevented a goal. If Alfredo Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simão Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Santos having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Barco FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Soares. 25 minutes into the game, Lucas Pacheco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Torrejao the free kick. Lucas Pacheco kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Alfredo Maia in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alexandre Cabral, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Alfredo Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the match, Barco FC's goalkeeper Alexandre Cabral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Maia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Pires in the 33rd minute of play forced SC Torrejao's goalkeeper Nuno Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, SC Torrejao's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Pires came free, but Nuno Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Torrejao's Nuno Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Pires in the 40th minute of play. Simão Pires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th match minute, SC Torrejao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Jesus to maneuver through the defense. Nuno Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Catarino Oliveira in the 50th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After having played for 56 minutes, Simão Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simão Pires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Simão Pires got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 76th minute, SC Torrejao's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Catarino Oliveira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Miguel Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Torrejao's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Soares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Cabral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Barco FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Lucas Pacheco hit a great ball. Alexandre Cabral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Maia's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Alfredo Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Alexandre Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simão Pires struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Nuno Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barco FC. Nuno Santos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 88th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Domingos Freitas's late challenge caught a SC Torrejao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingos Freitas helped the player get up and apologised. Domingos Freitas hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Adolfo Barros took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alexandre Cabral. Barco FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Barco FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Lucas Pacheco hit a great ball. Miguel Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Barco FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
