Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Joaquim Melo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustavo Costa having to make a save. After 6 minutes, Domingos Aguiar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vilarica and the Mouraz FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Vilarica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Moura scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Costa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Mouraz FC's David Maia got control of the ball when Amílcar Coimbra tried to sneak it across the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Rui Ribeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mouraz FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vilarica the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Azevedo in the 17th minute of play forced Vilarica's goalkeeper Gustavo Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim Melo in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Costa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joaquim Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gustavo Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, one of Vilarica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vilarica. Gustavo Costa had in the 29thth minute some difficulties stopping Mário Paiva's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Pedro Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Costa having to interfere. Mouraz FC's Pedro Moura got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Mouraz FC's goalkeeper David Maia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amílcar Coimbra. With a little luck, Mouraz FC's David Maia got control of the ball when António Araújo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Mouraz FC's Joaquim Melo in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vilarica's goalie prevented a goal. David Maia made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Amílcar Coimbra sent off a good shot on target. Duarte Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Maia having to interfere. Pedro Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Mouraz FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Amílcar Coimbra made the kick off in the second half. Amílcar Coimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. David Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Amílcar Coimbra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amílcar Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Maia having to interfere. When Miguel Andrade fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mouraz FC's protests and gave Miguel Andrade a yellow card for diving instead. Pedro Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute, Duarte Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Mouraz FC booed when Vilarica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Mouraz FC's Mário Paiva tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mouraz FC's Miguel Andrade suffered a sore thigh after 79 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 79 minutes into the game, Duarte Leão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vilarica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mouraz FC the free kick. In the 81st match minute, Mouraz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Paiva to maneuver through the defense. Vilarica's Artur Cardoso couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mouraz FC. Amílcar Coimbra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Vilarica's Amílcar Coimbra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Maia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 91 minutes, Pedro Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mouraz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Moura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mouraz FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
