If Delfim Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Concieiro booed when Mouraz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cláudio Coimbra in the 10th minute of the match. In the 13th match minute, Mouraz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Andrade to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Cláudio Coimbra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cláudio Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Maia having to interfere. Pedro Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Pereira having to interfere. In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Concieiro. José Antunes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving David Maia. 1-1. Concieiro's Cláudio Coimbra got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute of the match Joaquim Amaral sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Maia skillfully saved the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Pedro Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mouraz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Moura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Pereira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Humberto Pereira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Moura went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Joaquim Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mouraz FC's Pedro Moura got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquim Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Pereira having to interfere. After 76 played minutes Mouraz FC got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Moreira. 83 minutes into the match, Concieiro's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Melo came free, but Humberto Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Mouraz FC's goalkeeper David Maia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delfim Soares. Delfim Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Cláudio Coimbra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Concieiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Cláudio Coimbra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Maia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
