Jorge Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vasco Vaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Veiga's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Hugo Campos kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Vasco Vaz was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Lucas Veiga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lucas Veiga really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Palheirao's Miguel Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuno Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Vasco Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute Jorge Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Veiga in the 47th minute of play forced Palheirao's goalkeeper Vasco Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Dias to strike the kick off in the second half. If David Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the game, Mariano Campos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coleja FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palheirao the free kick. The supporters of Palheirao booed when Coleja FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Palheirao's zone, David Martins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasco Vaz came out of the goal and David Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquim Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Vaz having to interfere. Coleja FC's Albertino Morais got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas Veiga got in the 72nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Vasco Vaz handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When Mariano Oliveira fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palheirao's protests and gave Mariano Oliveira a yellow card for diving instead. Mariano Oliveira hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 76 played minutes Coleja FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Porto. Palheirao's Jorge Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
