Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luís Coelho got the match started through his kick off. Eduardo Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Inácio Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SC Alhandra getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Eusébio Barbosa hit a great ball. Marco Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, António Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Faro in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Nunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miguel Simões was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. Montais's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduardo Matos in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Inácio Castro saved SC Alhandra from getting behind. Luís Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Nunes having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Marco Faro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Marco Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Faro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacinto Anjos struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Inácio Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montais.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eduardo Matos was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Eduardo Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montais's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Matos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inácio Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Eduardo Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Miguel Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Inácio Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Montais's zone, Bento Gueifão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Nunes came out of the goal and Bento Gueifão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, Miguel Simões got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the SC Alhandra defense, Eduardo Matos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Inácio Castro. The SC Alhandra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inácio Castro should have stopped the shot. In the 90th match minute, Montais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Bessa to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Alhandra players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Montais.
