Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Domingos Neves started the match with the kick off. Domingos Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute Barlonguinho FC were awarded a corner. Joel Moutinho went to the cornerflag to take it. Barlonguinho FC's Joel Moutinho was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Óscar Cruz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Bernardo Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Viriato Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Bernardo Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Bernardo Monteiro made a precise shot to the right of Bernardo Pinho. Barlonguinho FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 27th minute, Hugo Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barlonguinho FC's Bernardo Pinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Barlonguinho FC from getting a goal against them. When Carlos Dantas fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Bretanha's protests and gave Carlos Dantas a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes SC Bretanha got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Dantas. When Barlonguinho FC's Domingos Neves in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Bretanha's goalie prevented a goal. Gonçalo Matias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Óscar Cruz having to interfere. SC Bretanha's Óscar Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Matias in the 41st minute of play. Domingos Neves hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Gonçalo Matias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Óscar Cruz having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, SC Bretanha's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Neves came free, but Óscar Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Matias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Óscar Cruz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viriato Carneiro was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Paulo Moreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barlonguinho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Bretanha the free kick. After 53 played minutes Barlonguinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Moreira. When Viriato Carneiro came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the SC Bretanha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viriato Carneiro couldn't finish the play. Carlos Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Viriato Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Pinho having to interfere. After having played for 65 minutes, Viriato Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Bretanha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viriato Carneiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardo Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Bernardo Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barlonguinho FC's Domingos Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardo Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Pinho having to interfere. A collision led to SC Bretanha getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Armando Valente hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, SC Bretanha's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Tavares came free, but Óscar Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, SC Bretanha's Óscar Cruz got control of the ball when Gonçalo Matias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Viriato Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardo Pinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viriato Carneiro's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. When Hugo Pinheiro came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the SC Bretanha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Pinheiro couldn't finish the play.
