Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Júlio Assunção started the match with the kick off. André Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Luís Leiria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júlio Assunção's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, SC Cambedo's Luís Morais got a free kick in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the match, SC Cambedo's Rogério Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cândido Mota narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Afonso Garcia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Luís Leiria skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rogério Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cândido Mota read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Luís Morais managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Cambedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Morais was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the game, one of SC Cambedo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to SC Cambedo getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Rogério Cardoso hit a great ball. Júlio Assunção received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luís Leiria came out and tried to block the shot, but Júlio Assunção slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 43rd minute. Afonso Garcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Luís Leiria made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogério Santos was the one to do the kick off. If Afonso Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonso Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Palhagueira FC's Cândido Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério Santos in the 59th minute of play. In the 64th minute, André Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Palhagueira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogério Santos came free, but Cândido Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute Rogério Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cândido Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SC Cambedo booed when Palhagueira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th match minute, Palhagueira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Anjos to maneuver through the defense. Cândido Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Santos in the 84th minute of play. Luís Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Cândido Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Rogério Santos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cândido Mota. That made the score 2-2 in the 94 minute of play. The SC Cambedo players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Palhagueira FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
