André Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Alfredo Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Cunha in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Carvalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Manuel Magalhães fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Routar FC's protests and gave Manuel Magalhães a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, Routar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Cunha scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of André Carvalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Pepe FC defense, Alexandre Moniz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lúcio Campos. The Pepe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lúcio Campos should have stopped the shot. If Artur Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lúcio Campos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artur Macedo's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Lúcio Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pepe FC's goalkeeper Lúcio Campos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Artur Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Campos having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Artur Macedo to strike the kick off in the second half. When Alexandre Moniz came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Routar FC fans jumped to their feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Macedo in the 54th minute of play forced Pepe FC's goalkeeper Lúcio Campos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 2-1 became the score in the 55th minute when Alexandre Moniz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Alexandre Moniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Lúcio Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artur Macedo in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lúcio Campos saved Pepe FC from getting behind. André Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Cunha in the 65th minute of the match. Lúcio Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Alexandre Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Simão Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
