Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jorge Valente made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Murzeleira FC's zone, Jorge Valente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Carvalho came out of the goal and Jorge Valente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, Tiago Moutinho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Marvoes's Alberto Gomes. Alberto Gomes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiago Moutinho in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Gomes saved Marvoes from getting behind. With a little luck, Murzeleira FC's Ricardo Carvalho got control of the ball when Amílcar Cardoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ricardo Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílcar Cardoso in the 32nd minute of the match. Jorge Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Marvoes's goal looked a bit too open when Bento Pedroso came free, but Alberto Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Marvoes defense, Bento Pedroso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Gomes. The Marvoes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Gomes should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Marvoes's Hugo Moniz got a free kick in the 45th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Bento Pedroso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Murzeleira FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bento Pedroso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Gomes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Marvoes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Murzeleira FC were winning 0-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bento Pedroso to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomás Aleixo during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Bento Pedroso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alberto Gomes. That made the score 2-3 in the 87 minute of play. In the 90th minute, one of Marvoes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Marvoes. After having played for 95 minutes, Amílcar Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marvoes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amílcar Cardoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardo Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Valente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
