Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gonçalo Baptista kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, SC Satao's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Baptista came free, but Raul Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Satao's Afonso Martins got a free kick in the 13th minute. André Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 20th minute, Gonçalo Baptista made a precise shot to the right of Raul Leão. SC Satao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, SC Satao's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Baptista came free, but Raul Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Afonso Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Reis struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. André Miranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Satao. If Gonçalo Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
In the 52nd match minute, Santarem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Almeida to maneuver through the defense. Fábio Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Miranda having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Santarem's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Reis came free, but André Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fábio Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. André Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vasco Setúbal charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vasco Setúbal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SC Satao's Vasco Setúbal got a free kick in the 66th minute. Rui Pinheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fábio Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Miranda having to interfere. SC Satao's Raul Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Pinheiro in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Pedro Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonçalo Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Reis in the 88th minute of play. Santarem's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
