Nuno Machado started the match with the kick off. If Gonçalo Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Cuvelinhas FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Joel Pinho hit a great ball. In the 9th minute of the match André Delgado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gonçalo Gaspar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Cuvelinhas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Pinheiro came free, but Gonçalo Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Miranda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Gueifão went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 21 played minutes Cuvelinhas FC got a freekick which was hit by Joel Pinho. Rui Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Gaspar having to interfere. Gonçalo Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The audience was convinced that Nuno Machado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Miranda was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Gonçalo Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Baptista in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Nuno Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute Gonçalo Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gonçalo Baptista made the kick off in the second half. Rui Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gonçalo Baptista received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gonçalo Gaspar came out and tried to block the shot, but Gonçalo Baptista slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 53rd minute. With a little luck, Cuvelinhas FC's Gonçalo Gaspar got control of the ball when Rui Pinheiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gonçalo Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Gaspar having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Nuno Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuvelinhas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Machado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 66 played minutes Cuvelinhas FC got a freekick which was hit by António Coimbra. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rui Pinheiro got free with Gonçalo Gaspar in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Cuvelinhas FC's Joel Pinho got a free kick in the 71st minute. Rui Pinheiro kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 74thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Cuvelinhas FC's keeper Gonçalo Gaspar was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Bruno Gueifão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Miranda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rui Pinheiro got free with Gonçalo Gaspar in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute of the match André Delgado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gonçalo Gaspar skillfully saved the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
