Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Portelada FC's Diamantino Borges started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rafael Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gil Carneiro in the 7th minute. After 8 minutes, Hugo Aguiar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almornos FC and the Portelada FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th minute, Hugo Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gil Carneiro came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Portelada FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Carneiro couldn't finish the play. Gil Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Rafael Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Soares having to interfere. Portelada FC's Augusto Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Pinheiro in the 22nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Rocha in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Soares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rodrigo Rocha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augusto Soares having to make a save. Alexandre Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rodrigo Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Pinheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simão Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafael Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Gil Carneiro sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Alexandre Pinheiro made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Portelada FC booed when Almornos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 55 played minutes, Portelada FC's Manuel Fernandes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rafael Azevedo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Portelada FC reached it. When Cristiano Amaro fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Almornos FC's protests and gave Cristiano Amaro a yellow card for diving instead. Cristiano Amaro hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The supporters of Portelada FC booed when Almornos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Portelada FC's Gil Carneiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Azevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 67 minutes, Vítor Magalhães mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Portelada FC and the Almornos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Almornos FC booed when Portelada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Pinheiro in the 70th minute of play. Gil Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Azevedo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Carneiro in the 82nd minute of play forced Almornos FC's goalkeeper Rafael Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Portelada FC's zone, Rodrigo Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Soares came out of the goal and Rodrigo Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augusto Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Borges in the 91st minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
