Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Delfim Leal took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Brás got free with Paulo Costa in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cláudio Branco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cândido Porto went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cândido Porto in the 15th minute of play forced Ribas FC's goalkeeper Cláudio Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Escapais FC were awarded a corner. Alexandre Paredes went to the cornerflag to take it. Paulo Aguiar thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Cláudio Branco, a very annoying self made goal in the 17th minute which led to 0-2. Cláudio Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st match minute, Ribas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute Pedro Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cândido Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cláudio Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Ribas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cândido Porto came free, but Cláudio Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Freitas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Cláudio Branco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ribas FC's Cláudio Branco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Ribas FC from getting a goal against them. Emanuel Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ribas FC's Alfredo Carvalho got a free kick in the 74th minute. Delfim Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Paulo Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Gueifão hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute of the match Ribas FC got a corner. Escapais FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos Marques ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ribas FC's Carlos Marques was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Paulo Costa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Manuel Sousa's late challenge caught a Ribas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Sousa helped the player get up and apologised. Delfim Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 98 minutes, Paulo Aguiar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ribas FC and the Escapais FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 98 played minutes Ribas FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Aguiar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Escapais FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
