Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Emanuel Coelho hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 4 minutes into the match, Donim's goal looked a bit too open when Cândido Porto came free, but Álvaro Borba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Freitas in the 14th minute of play forced Donim's goalkeeper Álvaro Borba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Donim's Carlos Coelho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Costa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Cândido Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Escapais FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Adolfo Esteves scored to the left of an out of position Paulo Costa, making the score, 2-0. 33 minutes into the game, Viriato Fernandes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Donim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Escapais FC the free kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Freitas to make the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Cândido Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escapais FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cândido Porto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Donim getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Sérgio Esteves hit a great ball. Cândido Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Álvaro Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cândido Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Freitas struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Álvaro Borba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escapais FC. In the 66thth minute of the game Adolfo Esteves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Escapais FC's Paulo Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Álvaro Borba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Freitas in the 67th minute of the match. Álvaro Borba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the game, Cândido Porto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Álvaro Borba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paulo Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Coelho in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Sérgio Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Donim's zone, Pedro Freitas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Álvaro Borba came out of the goal and Pedro Freitas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, Cândido Porto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Álvaro Borba. Donim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cândido Porto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Adolfo Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
