The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Joaquim Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Trindade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Paulo Cabral made a huge save. Paulo Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Leite in the 13th minute of the match. Manuel Assis hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Marco Paredes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jorge Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Leca FC's zone, Jorge Trindade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Cabral came out of the goal and Jorge Trindade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leca FC's Paulo Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Leite in the 25th minute of play. Jorge Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Fujados's Pedro Leite in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leca FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Jorge Trindade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Leca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Leite came free, but Paulo Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th match minute, Leca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Catarino Borges to maneuver through the defense. Marco Paredes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paulo Cabral. Leca FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Joaquim Simões struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Fernando Luz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leca FC. After a defensive mix-up in Fujados's zone, Rui Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Luz came out of the goal and Rui Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Pedro Leite made the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Fujados's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Simões came free, but Fernando Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquim Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Fernando Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leca FC's Rui Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernando Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. António Borba charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed António Borba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rui Santos got free with Fernando Luz in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorge Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Leite in the 64th minute of the match. Manuel Assis's late challenge caught a Fujados's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Assis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Leca FC's Manuel Assis got a free kick in the 65th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Leca FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Fujados. Marco Paredes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Paulo Cabral. 1-0. After 76 minutes of play, Fujados's Pedro Leite made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Cabral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paulo Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Trindade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Trindade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Cabral having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fujados had won after a very even match.
