The crowd rose to their feet as Nuno Paiva kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bruno Resende. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Samorim's zone, Paulo Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Resende came out of the goal and Paulo Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, SC Samorim's Lourenço Vieira got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute Nuno Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Resende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 played minutes SC Carapinhal got a freekick which was hit by António Cardoso. Bruno Resende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Rocha in the 95th minute of play.
