Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jorge Branco made the kick off which started today's match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by António Veiga during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th minute, António Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inácio Amaro had several of the SC Duquezas's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 9 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Rui Matos as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Rodrigo Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Resgais's Cândido Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Branco in the 15th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Resgais got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Costa. After having played for 17 minutes, Jorge Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Duquezas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Branco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th match minute, SC Duquezas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Branco to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Vieira in the 29th minute of play forced SC Duquezas's goalkeeper Rui Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Resgais's Cândido Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Branco in the 31st minute of play. Rodrigo Borba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Cândido Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cândido Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Branco in the 36th minute of play. If Jorge Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Resgais defense, António Veiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cândido Lopes. The Resgais fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cândido Lopes should have stopped the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Pedro Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Rui Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cândido Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Inácio Amaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Rui Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Resgais's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Branco came free, but Cândido Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inácio Amaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 93 played minutes Resgais got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Costa. In the 98th minute, Rodrigo Borba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
