Cristóvão Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Brás in the 19th minute of the match. The Proselo fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Proselo's Rui Domingues looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lúcio Brás's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristóvão Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Assis in the 31st minute of play forced Macao FC's goalkeeper Abel Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Proselo's António Assis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Cristóvão Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Brás in the 38th minute of the match. Adelino Amorim struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Cristóvão Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macao FC. When Lúcio Brás came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Macao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lúcio Brás couldn't finish the play. João Viegas kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Leiria made a kick off. If Rui Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Viegas charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Viegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. João Viegas kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Joel Leiria might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristóvão Azevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Leiria ran back to his position shaking his head. After 67 minutes of play Macao FC's João Viegas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 68th minute, João Viegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albertino Nascimento was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Abel Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Abel Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Assis in the 72nd minute of the match. Rui Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristóvão Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Lúcio Brás sent off a good shot on target. Miguel Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Rui Domingues ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abel Paredes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. When Rui Domingues came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Proselo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Domingues couldn't finish the play. Macao FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
