Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Miguel Vaz got the match started through his kick off. After some careless play in the Macao FC defense, Delfim Amaral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Paredes. The Macao FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Paredes should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute, Cavaleiros FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joel Leiria fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 24th minute Miguel Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Cavaleiros FC booed when Macao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Joel Leiria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bento Delgado was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cavaleiros FC's goalkeeper Bento Delgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sandro Machado's late challenge caught a Macao FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandro Machado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th match minute, Cavaleiros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Machado to maneuver through the defense. Abel Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Amaral in the 37th minute of play. João Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bento Delgado having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Macao FC's Joel Leiria slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bento Delgado. That made the score 1-1 after 47 minutes of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Leiria made a kick off. Joel Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Bento Delgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Lúcio Brás managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lúcio Brás was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bento Delgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute, Joel Leiria made a precise shot to the right of Bento Delgado. Cavaleiros FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 70th match minute, Macao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sérgio Soares to maneuver through the defense. Cavaleiros FC's Delfim Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abel Paredes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delfim Amaral in the 73rd minute. Vítor Almeida hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Delfim Amaral was extremely unlucky when he, in the 78th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 97th match minute, Macao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Macao FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cavaleiros FC for a fine match.
