With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Leite prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bento Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Pedrosa FC booed when SC Lavegadas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bento Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Brás didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bento Fernandes went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Lucas Brás was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bento Fernandes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 32 minute of play. In the 36th minute Fábio Coimbra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonçalo Branco might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Leite. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fábio Coimbra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Catarino Abreu took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucas Brás. Lucas Brás dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. With a little luck, Pedrosa FC's Hugo Leite got control of the ball when Gonçalo Branco tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Bento Fernandes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucas Brás was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. 83 minutes into the match, SC Lavegadas's goal looked a bit too open when Catarino Abreu came free, but Lucas Brás reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Catarino Abreu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucas Brás read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Oliveira Trindade struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Lucas Brás didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pedrosa FC.
