Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Folgoso's Mário Esteves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fernando Anjos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Amorim having to interfere. A collision led to Figueiros FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. André Borba hit a great ball. After having played for 10 minutes, Adelino Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Folgoso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adelino Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC Folgoso's Pedro Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Domingues in the 18th minute of play. Pedro Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fernando Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Domingues in the 24th minute of play forced SC Folgoso's goalkeeper Pedro Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Folgoso's zone, Fernando Anjos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Amorim came out of the goal and Fernando Anjos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Mário Esteves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Diogo Campos. That made the score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. A collision led to SC Folgoso getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Alexandre Mota hit a great ball. SC Folgoso's Pedro Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Domingues in the 40th minute of play. Cristiano Domingues might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristiano Domingues ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

André Borba made a great header on Figueiros FC's corner, it was just that SC Folgoso's Pedro Amorim managed to reach the ball for a save. Diogo Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Cristiano Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Amorim having to interfere. Fábio Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Diogo Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fábio Fonseca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diogo Campos having to make a save. In the 79th minute Fábio Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo Campos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Folgoso's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
