Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Augusto Moura received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emanuel Torres came out and tried to block the shot, but Augusto Moura slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. SC Mereces's Emanuel Torres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save SC Mereces from getting a goal against them. Augusto Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Torres having to interfere. Raul Gomes hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Sebastião Gueifão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Mereces's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastião Gueifão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Cava FC's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Pires came free, but Alexandre Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Torres was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Augusto Moura capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Augusto Moura really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in SC Mereces's zone, Augusto Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Torres came out of the goal and Augusto Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Valente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 39 played minutes SC Mereces got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Brás. After a rather tough play, SC Mereces's Bento Matos got a free kick in the 40th minute. Augusto Moura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emanuel Torres having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augusto Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Cava FC got a freekick which was hit by André Valente. In the 56th minute, Paulo Leal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bento Matos charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bento Matos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Mereces getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Bento Matos hit a great ball. The Cava FC fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Cava FC's Augusto Moura looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Augusto Moura took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emanuel Torres. Emanuel Torres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Cândido Freitas struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Emanuel Torres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cava FC. Emanuel Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Carvalho in the 70th minute of the match. Emanuel Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Sebastião Gueifão lost his temper 91 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Mereces fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Cava FC. Raul Gomes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Emanuel Torres. 6-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cava FC fully deserved thier win.
