Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jorge Fernandes started the match with the kick off. Domingos Esteves's late challenge caught a Arrimal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingos Esteves helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Linho getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Domingos Esteves hit a great ball. Jorge Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Reis having to interfere. If Domingos Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viriato Silva came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Arrimal FC's Ricardo Borges. But to his dismay, Ricardo Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Arrimal FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Jorge Fernandes scored to the left of an out of position Jacinto Reis, making the score, 1-1. Jorge Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jacinto Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Ferro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Viriato Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jorge Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingos Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Reis having to interfere. Mariano Ferro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricardo Borges to make the kick off. When Cristóvão Rodrigues fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Linho's protests and gave Cristóvão Rodrigues a yellow card for diving instead. Cristóvão Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Linho's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sandro Soares was slow to take the kick. During this time Arrimal FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Arrimal FC's corner Sandro Soares fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Viriato Silva quite easily take care of the ball. Jorge Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Reis having to interfere. After 62 played minutes Arrimal FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Rocha. The supporters of Arrimal FC booed when Linho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Esteves in the 66th minute of play. Domingos Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Jacinto Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sérgio Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Linho defense, Ricardo Borges kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viriato Silva. The Linho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viriato Silva should have stopped the shot. If Ricardo Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Domingos Esteves got free in front of the goal in the 91st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Jacinto Reis was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Rodrigo Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Domingos Esteves scored 2-3 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacinto Reis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacinto Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Esteves in the 96th minute of play.
