Joel Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Andrade having to interfere. Caniceira FC's Alberto Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Silva in the 24th minute of play. Vítor Viegas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Lagarteira FC's André Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Andrade having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Carlos Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lagarteira FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 48 minutes, Paulo Correia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caniceira FC and the Lagarteira FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paulo Correia hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Alexandre Fonseca ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 97 minutes, Alexandre Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caniceira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexandre Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 101st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caniceira FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
