Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fábio Pinto took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Valoura FC's Fábio Pinto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Valoura FC's Fábio Pinto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amadeu Carneiro. That made the score 2-0 after 11 minutes of play. Amadeu Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábio Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fábio Pinto in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeu Carneiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Simão Baptista in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Amadeu Carneiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Paulo Brás kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Bucos got a freekick which was hit by Vasco Pires. Amadeu Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Pinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Pinto in the 37th minute of play forced Bucos's goalkeeper Amadeu Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Joaquim Ramos fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valoura FC's protests and gave Joaquim Ramos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bucos booed when Valoura FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If João Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Mário Ferro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavier Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If João Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Vaz was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Valoura FC's Filipe Viana got a free kick in the 57th minute. Xavier Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Vaz in the 59th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Mário Ferro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bucos's supporters rose to their feet, but Mário Ferro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xavier Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xavier Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Vaz in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Mário Ferro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vaz in the 71st minute of play forced Valoura FC's goalkeeper Xavier Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Pinto in the 75th minute of play forced Bucos's goalkeeper Amadeu Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th match minute, Bucos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Brás to maneuver through the defense. Simão Baptista struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Amadeu Carneiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valoura FC. Simão Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bucos's João Vaz got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Valoura FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bucos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
