Paulo Coimbra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Alexandre Moura made a huge save. Alexandre Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Coelho in the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for Franzilhal FC. Daniel Fontes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mariano Branco. 0-2. 28 minutes into the match, Franzilhal FC's goalkeeper Alexandre Moura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Coimbra. Franzilhal FC's Alexandre Moura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Franzilhal FC from getting a goal against them. António Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Alexandre Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Moura having to interfere. In the 41st minute António Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raul Viegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and António Coelho made a kick off. Ribas's Mariano Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliveira Moreira in the 56th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Oliveira Moreira made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Ribas's Mariano Branco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute António Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandre Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Coimbra in the 64th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Paulo Coimbra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexandre Moura was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. António Coelho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandre Moura read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Basílio Carneiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Franzilhal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ribas the free kick. A collision led to Franzilhal FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Basílio Carneiro hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute of the match André Pedroso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexandre Moura showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mariano Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Carneiro in the 75th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Paulo Coimbra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexandre Moura was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. 82 minutes into the match, Ribas's goal looked a bit too open when Oliveira Moreira came free, but Mariano Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 87 in the game by Raul Viegas from a close distance when the talented Mariano Branco managed to make a qualified save. Ribas's players were relieved. If Raul Viegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th match minute, Ribas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Simões to maneuver through the defense. The Ribas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Franzilhal FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Franzilhal FC.
