Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bento Mendes started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Toes's goalkeeper Emanuel Henriques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Filipe Dantas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11thth minute of the game Bento Mendes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Toes's Emanuel Henriques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Bento Mendes came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the SC Novelaes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bento Mendes couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, SC Toes's goalkeeper Emanuel Henriques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filipe Dantas. The supporters of SC Novelaes booed when SC Toes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Moniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Bento Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Henriques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Novelaes's David Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Costa in the 31st minute of play. José Cruz's late challenge caught a SC Toes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Cruz helped the player get up and apologised. José Cruz hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Daniel Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Toes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filipe Dantas got free with Emanuel Henriques in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the game, Eusébio Moniz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Toes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Novelaes the free kick. Eusébio Moniz hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. David Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Costa in the 42nd minute of play. Daniel Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. David Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Bento Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Novelaes's supporters rose to their feet, but Bento Mendes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Henriques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Daniel Costa made the kick off in the second half. Bento Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. David Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, SC Novelaes's David Leão got control of the ball when Pedro Assunção tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bento Mendes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Henriques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Cruz in the 76th minute of play. When Pedro Assunção fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Toes's protests and gave Pedro Assunção a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SC Toes getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Pedro Assunção hit a great ball. Américo Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, SC Novelaes's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Costa came free, but David Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Bento Mendes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Novelaes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 92nd minute, Filipe Dantas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, SC Novelaes's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Costa came free, but David Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Novelaes had won after a very even match.
