Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Heitor Nascimento got the match started through his kick off. Carlos Gueifão hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. A collision led to Lago FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Luís Pinho hit a great ball. Manuel Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Assunção in the 9th minute of play. In the 20th minute Nuno Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match Ricardo Monteiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eduardo Paiva skillfully saved the ball. If José Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heitor Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Manuel Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Lago FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Albertino Vieira hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Rocha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lago FC's Manuel Fernandes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Lago FC from getting a goal against them. Heitor Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Vicoso's José Assunção was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 69th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Heitor Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Fernandes having to interfere. SC Vicoso's Eduardo Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Silva in the 78th minute of play. In the 85th minute Heitor Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lago FC's zone, José Assunção stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Fernandes came out of the goal and José Assunção tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute, Nuno Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lago FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nuno Setúbal in the 96th minute. SC Vicoso played a much better game than Lago FC and deserved their victory. The Lago FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
