The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Freitas during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Roussada booed when Espaldao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Diogo Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espaldao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Diogo Veiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
