In the 21st match minute, Landeira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the game, Joaquim Pedroso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Eusébio Teixeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roussada's Eusébio Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Andrade in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Landeira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Domingues came free, but João Delgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquim Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 played minutes Roussada got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Moura. In the 48th minute of the match, Joaquim Pedroso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eusébio Teixeira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredo Andrade to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Landeira FC's goalkeeper João Delgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joaquim Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Eusébio Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roussada's Viriato Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquim Pedroso might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eusébio Teixeira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquim Pedroso ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Pedroso in the 90th minute of play forced Roussada's goalkeeper Eusébio Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusébio Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Andrade in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Roussada's António Assunção got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After having played for 97 minutes, Alfredo Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Landeira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
