Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Filipe Carvalho took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Ameixeira's Adelino Fonseca in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vilarelhos's goalie prevented a goal. If Adelino Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Vilarelhos booed when Ameixeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiago Lima hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Filipe Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 minutes of play, Vilarelhos's David Luz made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Heitor Moura was left in no man's land by his defense there! David Luz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Heitor Moura when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Ameixeira's Adelino Fonseca in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vilarelhos's goalie prevented a goal. If David Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Francisco Fonseca fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Heitor Moura made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Luz in the 35th minute. When Adelino Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Ameixeira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adelino Fonseca couldn't finish the play. After having played for 47 minutes, Alberto Assis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vilarelhos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Assis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
Vilarelhos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by André Domingues in the 54th minute. Adelino Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Filipe Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Fonseca in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Heitor Moura saved Ameixeira from getting behind. 66 minutes into the match, Ameixeira's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Fonseca came free, but Heitor Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute of the match Fernando Reis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filipe Coelho skillfully saved the ball. In the 69th minute, Alberto Assis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Filipe Carvalho took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Filipe Coelho to make any attempt to save it. Heitor Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Filipe Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Coelho having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vilarelhos's José Guerreiro got a free kick in the 80th minute. With a little luck, Vilarelhos's Filipe Coelho got control of the ball when Adelino Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Filipe Carvalho charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filipe Carvalho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th match minute, Ameixeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute, André Veiga had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After having played for 93 minutes, Adelino Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ameixeira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adelino Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José Guerreiro struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Heitor Moura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vilarelhos. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vilarelhos had won after a very even match.
