Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Américo Amaral got the match started through his kick off. After 4 minutes, Sandro Luz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alcouce and the Paredao players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Alcouce's Sandro Luz got a free kick in the 4th minute. Américo Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Adelino Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Américo Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Cardoso having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Américo Amaral reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adelino Cardoso. The goal made the score 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Reis in the 21st minute of play forced Paredao's goalkeeper Daniel Assis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alcouce's Rafael Reis got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Assis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Morais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Joaquim Gonçalves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sandro Luz was shown his second yellow card after 35 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 35th minute, one of Alcouce:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alcouce. When the match had been going on for 38 minutes, Paredao's André Neves got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Adelino Cardoso. After a defensive mix-up in Paredao's zone, Adelino Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Assis came out of the goal and Adelino Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredo Morais scored 2-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Assis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adelino Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Américo Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Morais stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Alfredo Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Daniel Assis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Alcouce's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Amaral came free, but Adelino Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Paredao's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alfredo Morais fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 70th minute, Jorge Brás fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Alfredo Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Assis having to interfere. Adelino Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Américo Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adelino Cardoso was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Alfredo Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Alcouce players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Paredao.
