Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) João Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Faria in the 5th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes, Bencatel FC's Mariano Ribeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Viriato Neves came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bencatel FC reached it. After some careless play in the Travassinho FC defense, Pedro Melo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viriato Neves. The Travassinho FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viriato Neves should have stopped the shot. Pedro Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Neves having to interfere. Catarino Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristóvão Martins blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Martins having to make a save. If Vítor Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Martins having to interfere. Cristóvão Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Faria in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristóvão Martins to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Travassinho FC's João Martins threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristóvão Martins, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Travassinho FC's Manuel Ramos got a free kick in the 67th minute. Nuno Carneiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viriato Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Viriato Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Vítor Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Pedro Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bencatel FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Melo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 88 played minutes Bencatel FC got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Carneiro. After having played for 90 minutes, António Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Travassinho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but António Pires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Travassinho FC's Viriato Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Gaspar in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Bencatel FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vítor Faria fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Bencatel FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
