Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when André Correia got the match started through his kick off. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Raul Fontes put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Delfim Freitas. In the 7th minute Artur Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, André Correia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Andrade. SC Piquete's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Correia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Carlos Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Joaquim Assis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 23rd minute. SC Piquete's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 26th minute, Vítor Brás hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artur Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Carlos Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Correia hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim Assis made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artur Porto got free with Carlos Andrade in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Andrade made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Artur Porto sent off a good shot on target. If André Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Albertino Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Piquete's protests and gave Albertino Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Fanadia FC booed when SC Piquete was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertino Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Artur Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fanadia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Porto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 64 played minutes SC Piquete got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Figueiredo. 65 minutes into the match, SC Piquete's goal looked a bit too open when André Correia came free, but Carlos Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raul Fontes's late challenge caught a Fanadia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raul Fontes helped the player get up and apologised. Raul Fontes hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Delfim Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Assis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 minutes of play SC Piquete's Albertino Almeida was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Albertino Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Artur Porto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Carlos Andrade made a huge save. After 75 minutes, Cristiano Santarém mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fanadia FC and the SC Piquete players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SC Piquete booed when Fanadia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Santarém didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nuno Figueiredo fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Piquete's protests and gave Nuno Figueiredo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th minute, Nuno Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raul Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Assis in the 88th minute of play forced Fanadia FC's goalkeeper Delfim Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fanadia FC's André Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fanadia FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
