Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pedro Miranda took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes SC Ventelharia got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Gueifão. Carlos Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Alfredo Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Campos in the 13th minute of the match. André Paiva charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Paiva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. André Paiva hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute Vicente Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Ventelharia's Armindo Amorim was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alfredo Teixeira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marco Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Teixeira having to interfere. Alfredo Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Campos in the 36th minute of play. Alfredo Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the game, Rui Sá was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alcofra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Ventelharia the free kick. In the 42nd minute, Rui Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 minutes of play, SC Ventelharia's Marco Campos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Teixeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vicente Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. SC Ventelharia's Marco Campos got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Artur Brás hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Carlos Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Miranda in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Sá prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marco Campos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Alfredo Teixeira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alfredo Teixeira came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Ventelharia's Vicente Moura. But to his dismay, Vicente Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 75 minutes into the match, SC Ventelharia's Marco Campos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Teixeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hugo Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Carlos Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Sá having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Vicente Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, SC Ventelharia's Vicente Moura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Teixeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marco Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Teixeira having to interfere. SC Ventelharia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
