Carlos Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Ventelharia's Carlos Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Porto in the 17th minute of play. After 26 played minutes, SC Alcanede's Fernando Paiva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlos Sá came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Alcanede reached it. Tiago Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Sá having to interfere. A hard shot 30 in the game by Marco Campos from a close distance when the talented Ricardo Assis managed to make a qualified save. SC Alcanede's players were relieved. A collision led to SC Alcanede getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Lourenço Trindade hit a great ball. After 33 minutes, Gustavo Moniz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Alcanede and the SC Ventelharia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in SC Alcanede's zone, Vicente Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Assis came out of the goal and Vicente Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marco Campos might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Assis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Campos ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 46 minutes, Tiago Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Alcanede's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Porto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Rodrigo Freitas made the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 62 in the game by Tiago Porto from a close distance when the talented Carlos Sá managed to make a qualified save. SC Ventelharia's players were relieved. If Tiago Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiago Porto got free with Carlos Sá in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 80 minutes, Filipe Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Alcanede and the SC Ventelharia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ricardo Assis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Moura in the 82nd minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, SC Alcanede's Rodrigo Freitas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Sá narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tiago Porto struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Carlos Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Alcanede. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Carlos Sá successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 93 minutes into the match, SC Ventelharia's goalkeeper Carlos Sá had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiago Porto.
