SC Gondizalves's Pedro Coimbra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save SC Gondizalves from getting a goal against them. The SC Sobrido players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Gondizalves were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fábio Moniz made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Tomás Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Gondizalves's Pedro Coimbra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 53rd minute, Fábio Moniz made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Coimbra. SC Gondizalves's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. SC Sobrido's Gil Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Machado in the 94th minute of play. The SC Gondizalves players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SC Sobrido from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
