Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ameal FC's Óscar Figueiredo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tomás Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gil Moreira made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Cristiano Cunha sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute Óscar Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Lucas Brito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristiano Cunha struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Gil Moreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ameal FC. Gil Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Óscar Figueiredo in the 41st minute of play. SC Sobrido's Lucas Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Martins to make the kick off. Gabriel Sousa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sérgio Mendes in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Martins in the 54th minute of play forced Ameal FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ameal FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Emílio Paredes hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Tomás Martins reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gabriel Sousa. The goal made the score 0-1. When Sérgio Mendes came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the SC Sobrido fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sérgio Mendes couldn't finish the play. Delfim Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes Ameal FC got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Paredes. SC Sobrido's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gabriel Lopes in the 73rd minute. The corner ended in Gabriel Lopes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ameal FC's Gabriel Sousa did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Tomás Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Sobrido's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Óscar Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Gil Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87thth minute of the game Óscar Figueiredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Sobrido's Gil Moreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Cristiano Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Ameal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Cunha couldn't finish the play. Óscar Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Moreira having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
