Adelino Amorim's late challenge caught a Costa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adelino Amorim helped the player get up and apologised. The Borbolega fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Leão should have stopped the shot. Bernardo Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Borbolega players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Costa FC were winning 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basílio Magalhães made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Borbolega's goal looked a bit too open when André Lopes came free, but Bernardo Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Leão made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when André Lopes sent off a good shot on target. 55 minutes into the match, Borbolega's goalkeeper Bernardo Leão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Lopes. A collision led to Borbolega getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Nuno Dias hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basílio Magalhães in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rui Magalhães saved Costa FC from getting behind. André Lopes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Bernardo Leão skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Borbolega's Adelino Amorim got his second yellow card of the match in the 73rd minute. The referee ordered Adelino Amorim off the ground. In the 73rd minute, Adelino Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jaime Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Costa FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. David Queirós hit a great ball. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
