Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Delfim Paiva kicked off to start the match. The Horta FC fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Horta FC's Cristiano Morais looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Filipe Barros's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Jorge Aguiar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delfim Paiva in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonçalo Rodrigues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute, Delfim Paiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Dias in the 22nd minute of play forced Horta FC's goalkeeper Jorge Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Horta FC booed when Bajouca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bajouca FC's Gonçalo Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Paiva in the 30th minute of play. Jorge Aguiar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filipe Barros in the 33rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Filipe Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bajouca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipe Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Aguiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filipe Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Aguiar having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 54th match minute, Bajouca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Leão to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Morais got free with Gonçalo Rodrigues in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristiano Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horta FC's Jorge Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Barros in the 68th minute of play. If Filipe Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Henrique Anjos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Luís Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaspar Fernandes during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Horta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. Delfim Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Rodrigues having to interfere. Delfim Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Gonçalo Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonçalo Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfim Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Cristiano Morais got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
