Afonso Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Dias in the 7th minute of the match. Rui Freitas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Gonçalo Rodrigues made a huge save. 13 minutes into the match, Bajouca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Moniz came free, but Gonçalo Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gonçalo Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Moniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Luís Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bajouca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Dias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Cardoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th match minute, Caneiros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Macedo to maneuver through the defense. Bajouca FC's Gonçalo Rodrigues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Bajouca FC from getting a goal against them. In the 27th match minute, Caneiros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. Filipe Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Cardoso having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Heitor Andrade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bajouca FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caneiros FC the free kick. If Filipe Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Filipe Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Rui Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caneiros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Freitas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonçalo Rodrigues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Caneiros FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bajouca FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Dias was the one to do the kick off. When Filipe Barros came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Bajouca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Barros couldn't finish the play. Filipe Barros took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Afonso Cardoso. Afonso Cardoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 70th minute, Catarino Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusébio Vale charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusébio Vale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Caneiros FC a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Duarte Macedo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bajouca FC's Gonçalo Rodrigues. 1-2. Duarte Macedo hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Bajouca FC were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Caneiros FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eusébio Vale took the corner. After taking down the ball on Bajouca FC's corner Eusébio Vale fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Afonso Cardoso quite easily take care of the ball. Filipe Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, Caneiros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Dias came free, but Afonso Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Moniz struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Gonçalo Rodrigues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caneiros FC. 96 minutes into the match, Bajouca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Freitas came free, but Gonçalo Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
