Pedro Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Pacheco in the 20th minute of the match. Pedro Vaz was a little too slow when Filipe Pacheco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 28th minute Filipe Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Caxarias FC booed when Tomareis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caxarias FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pedro Cabral in the 44th minute. A nice corner shot did that Pedro Cabral got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Vaz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Afonso Lima to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Henrique Marques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caxarias FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tomareis the free kick. After a rather tough play, Caxarias FC's Henrique Marques got a free kick in the 52nd minute. When Álvaro Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Caxarias FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Álvaro Moreira couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Pacheco in the 60th minute of play forced Tomareis's goalkeeper Pedro Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Caxarias FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Henrique Marques hit a great ball. Rafael Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Manuel Pacheco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving António Silva. That made the score 1-1 in the 67 minute of play. Manuel Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. António Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th match minute, Caxarias FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Paredes to maneuver through the defense. Heitor Amaro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Simão Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Pedro Barros hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Manuel Pacheco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tomareis's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Pacheco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute, Tomareis's Manuel Pacheco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. 95 minutes into the game, Filipe Pacheco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When the final whistle sounded Tomareis left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Caxarias FC.
