Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jorge Rocha started the match with the kick off. Jorge Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Jaime Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jorge Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 7 minutes, Mariano Ramos made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Valdreu FC's Jaime Fonseca tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Paulo Borges came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Valdreu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Borges couldn't finish the play. Gabriel Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Garcia having to interfere. Gabriel Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Garcia having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Paulo Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valdreu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaime Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 27 played minutes Gens got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Brito. A collision led to Gens getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Filipe Brito hit a great ball. Paulo Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafael Garcia had great luck who in the 35thth minute grab hold of the ball when Gabriel Sá from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 40th minute Gabriel Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Fonseca having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Valdreu FC's Paulo Borges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Garcia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Gens were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

58 minutes into the match, Valdreu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Rocha came free, but Jaime Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Jorge Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaime Fonseca was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Mariano Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Gens's Jorge Rocha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jaime Fonseca. That made the score 0-3 after 74 minutes of play. Rafael Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Fonseca having to interfere. After 85 minutes of play, Gens's Mariano Ramos made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jaime Fonseca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jorge Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Rocha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jaime Fonseca having to make a save. Mariano Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Jaime Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gens eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
