Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Gambelas's Abel Setúbal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fernando Oliveira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Diogo Freitas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Diogo Freitas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Oliveira went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in SC Gambelas's zone, Emanuel Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Neto came out of the goal and Emanuel Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abel Setúbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Diogo Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Lourel FC's goalkeeper Diogo Freitas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Oliveira. After 25 minutes, Lúcio Guarda made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. SC Gambelas's Daniel Neto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cláudio Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Abel Setúbal managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Gambelas's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Setúbal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diogo Freitas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, SC Gambelas's Jorge Moura got a free kick in the 42nd minute. António Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Neto having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Santos made a kick off. Diogo Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Setúbal in the 57th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Lourel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogério Monteiro came free, but Diogo Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Gambelas's Rogério Monteiro got a free kick in the 65th minute. António Pinto hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Diogo Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, SC Gambelas's goalkeeper Daniel Neto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by António Mendes. António Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Neto having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lourel FC's Lúcio Guarda got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 90th match minute, Lourel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Leão to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes into the match, Lourel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Oliveira came free, but Diogo Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Setúbal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diogo Freitas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Lourel FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
