In the 26th minute Albertino Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino Gonçalves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Cumieira:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Chas:s goal. The referee gave SC Chas a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by José Moniz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cumieira's Adelino Gonçalves. 1-1. When SC Chas's Luís Sá in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cumieira's goalie prevented a goal. José Moniz, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Albertino Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Gonçalves having to interfere. Adelino Gonçalves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Sá in the 82nd minute of the match. Luís Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes SC Chas got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Pires. 95 minutes into the match, SC Chas's Albertino Oliveira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adelino Gonçalves narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
