Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Lourenço Reis made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rebelhos FC's zone, Lourenço Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristóvão Esteves came out of the goal and Lourenço Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Júlio Paredes came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Devaqueira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Paredes couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Silva in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiago Aguiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 12 played minutes Devaqueira FC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Fernandes. In the 17th minute Lourenço Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiago Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Silva in the 23rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Carlos Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rebelhos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Aguiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Rebelhos FC's Cristóvão Esteves got control of the ball when Júlio Paredes tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Rebelhos FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Afonso Marques hit a great ball. When Carlos Silva came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Rebelhos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Silva couldn't finish the play. Cristóvão Esteves made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Júlio Paredes sent off a good shot on target. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Silva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristóvão Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Paredes in the 52nd minute of the match. When Basílio Neto fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rebelhos FC's protests and gave Basílio Neto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Devaqueira FC's goalkeeper Tiago Aguiar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lourenço Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lourenço Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 69th minute, Devaqueira FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Carlos Silva fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 72nd minute Carlos Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humberto Guerreiro charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Guerreiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th minute, Humberto Guerreiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo Cardoso in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tiago Aguiar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Júlio Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Cristóvão Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Júlio Paredes made a precise shot to the right of Cristóvão Esteves. Rebelhos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 91 minutes into the match, Rebelhos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lourenço Reis came free, but Cristóvão Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Júlio Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Devaqueira FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
